Business Risk Advisor
What I do at Frinell Risk: I am currently in a rare position where I get to learn from and assist managing accounts for both the Commercial and Personal Lines teams. I also love being a catalyst for new experiences and sprinkler of encouragement and celebration around the office.
When I’m not at work:
You can find me dancing at Zouk socials, singing or playing a stringed instrument, meeting and supporting local artists, eating yummy food, or exploring the many resources and hikes this beautiful and generous Land has to offer.
My family:I have a relatively large family network, thanks to my late father’s obsession with genealogy, but my immediate family consists of my little sibling Monica, my two older sisters Erin and Christina, Erin’s not-so-baby-anymore Liam, and my absolute rock and superstar of a mother, Kittiya.
Interesting fact about myself: I have a Master’s Degree in Vocal Performance, which is just a fancy way to say I went to school for opera. I used to perform in productions, teach voice lessons, and sing in professional choirs around the Los Angeles area. Singing is no longer a priority since moving back to Oregon, but I find it a lot more enjoyable when it is no longer a major part of my identity. And believe it or not, there are quite a few transferrable skills preparing for a full-staged production that help me be a valuable player in the FRA Team!
Favorite book or movie:
“The Master’s Tools Will Never Dismantle the Master’s House” by Audre Lorde
Guests at my dream dinner party:
My dream dinner party would definitely be a gathering where each guest plays a part in a traditionally prepared communal meal, where the dishes are caught, foraged, or harvested from the land and sea. I would be happy with having this take place anywhere, but it would be very special if it was held at my grandma’s seaside village in Southern Thailand.
I think I would like to keep the guest list to the people who are near and dear to my heart, especially the people who have supported me in my journey through my majorly transformative 2022.
