When I’m not at work: Yoga, Walking/Hiking, Season ticketholder to Portland Arts and Lectures/Literary Arts and World Oregon.
My family: Husband Bud along with two step-kids (Sarah & Lucas) and one daughter (Janelle). So proud of each of them and we also love being empty nesters!
Interesting fact about myself: For the past three decades, annually my family of origin has gathered for vacation in what we have come to know affectionately as “Hollarama”. This has included my parents, siblings our spouses and kids. And now our kid’s kids. Thankful for this gift of a week each year to come together from various spots in the USA and bond as a family.
Favorite book or movie: The Sound of Music.

Like many insurance professionals, I did not grow up with the goal of becoming an insurance agent. After graduating from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo (Go Mustangs!) I became a licensed agent in California. Upon relocating to Oregon I moved to the Surplus Lines side of the insurance industry and worked for a local Wholesaler for 17 years. Since 2011 I’ve been back on the retail agency side of the insurance business. Each of these “stops” in my insurance journey has prepared me for working with Mark Frinell, Greg Horner and Matt Abere to provide the best possible service and advice to our clients.
